This furnished Private Vacation Apartment in Paris, located on rue Villehardouin, a small quiet old street of the Marais, is the perfect short-term accommodation, whether you come for holiday or for business in the City of Lights.
Within walking distance of almost everywhere in central Paris, this 50 sq m apartment is in the heart of the historic Marais district, 150 m from Place des Vosges. It is in a 17th century building with security code and intercom. Right behind, almost as a private backyard, is a majestic 17th Hôtel Particulier with its large beautiful rose garden park where you can sit and relax with a good book.
The apartment is found on the ground floor so its like being in a single-family residence because there are no stairs to climb. You have access to the apartment from an iron gate entry. The street where the building is located is mostly pedestrian and remarkably quiet. The very large living/dining room/kitchen (33sqm) has really high ceilings and genuinely stunning exposed beams, and two walls with apparent stones, sea grass carpeting on the floor, three large French windows that let the light in generously, and the sun during part of the day.
The living room has a very comfortable red sofa-bed for two (highest quality new mattress on wooden slats 140/200). The modern open kitchen is extremely well outfitted. It is done in large ceramic black & white tile. There is a refrigerator with real freezer, halogen cook top, microwave, exhaust fan, a washing machine and DISHWASHER, coffee maker, toaster, etc...and a good sized window. You will have everything needed to prepare those special dinners you've always dreamed of cooking in Paris. The nice bedroom has a highest quality new queen size double bed (latex mattress on wooden slats), a very large double glazed window that looks out on the courtyard on the side of the building and ample storage space, a nice modern bathroom with walk-in shower, a washbasin and vanity mirror, heated towel rack. The separate toilet has a sink.
This is a non smoking apartment. It sleeps comfortably 4 persons (baby bed and/or extra folding bed and high chair upon request)

The Marais is the oldest historical district in Paris and it has recently become very popular. This area is alive with charming cafés, restaurants, parks, designer shops in rue des Francs Bourgeois and wonderful food stores all nearby.
From your doorstep, in around 5 minutes on foot you are also at the Seine River, crossing onto the Islands to visit Notre Dame and the Ile Saint Louis. All major attractions in the center of Paris are thus within walking distance, including the Latin Quarter, near Notre Dame.
